Serve anything with burritos?

Anonymous
I’m quickly making a bunch of those frozen burritos from Whole Foods tonight for dinner. I can’t think of anything to serve with them that isn’t also super carb-y (rice, beans, quesadillas, chips and salsa?)

Are burritos sort of a one item meal?

Its is only 11:48am, you don't need to be so "quick" if you are truly starting now to make frozen for dinner.

Grilled or roasted vegetables.

Definitely something produce based -- you could do a green salad with a lime-cumin vinaigrette.

I also do confetti corn with Mexican sometimes.

Maybe she meant when she's home later with time to prepare dinner she won't have a lot of time. But thanks, Captain Helpful!

OP- Not familiar with the Whole Foods burritos but burritos can have a lot of well-rounded ingredients in them- fats, protein, carbs. But it couldn't hurt to make a nice salad. Maybe with corn and black beans and cheddar jack.

+1 yes they’re so heavy, salad or veggies would be great.
