Details are pretty stunning. Fired the teacher in retaliation after she was teacher of the year. And he faces another trial in Feb. 2024.

Is the supe going to...go to jail or lose his pension? Did the fired teacher win a settlement and/or her job back and back pay...yet?

Ziegler will be sentenced soon, most likely to jail for up to 1 year.

I want them to fire the principal Diane Mackey. She’s as guilty as Ziegler and still employed at the same school where she did this.

Teacher Erin Brooks complained to LCPS administrators about the problems with a sped kid in her class. School officials gave her cardboard piece and an offer to buy Brooks an apron,which didnt solve the problem.

Brooks reached out to the Loudoun school system’s human resources department about filing a Title IX complaint, but no action was taken.

Brooks became frustrated with officials’ lack of action, so she and her assistant resolved to reach out to an education activist, Ian Prior, about what was happening. Prior alerted the school board during public comments at a meeting in late March 2022.

What is Ian Prior contact information? Looks like if school system doesn't respond to teachers' complaints, that's the person to contact?

Can't you lose a public pension if you're found guilty of a crime(s) while on the job? Or is that only financial crimes?

Ziegler will not receive a pension from LCPC because he has been found guilty.

It’s a shame that the loudest voices on this issue are conservative voices (who don’t care about sex based rights). I thought Dems were supposed to stand for women rights? It’s seems like this isn’t the case anymore. I wish more of us would speak up and put an end to this stupidity.

I meant other sex based rights such as the right to choose. But why don’t we focus on what we have in common? Did you read the article? I think you’d like it.
