Going off birth control

I went off birth control pills (which I was on for 14 years) in February. Since then, my cycles have averaged about 45 days. My last period, I am not even sure was a period since it was so light and brown instead of red. Since that period, I have tracked my ovulation on the ClearBlue digital, where there was no change in my fertility status the entire month, which makes me assume I am not ovulating. Also, this only tracks for women with 42 day cycles, so was not even able to test on the days where I might have been ovulating. My doctor gave me Prometrium, which I started on day 28.
Has anyone else has this experience? I am frustrated because I feel like it will not even really be possible to start trying until I can get my cycle normal! |

| This happened to two friends of mine and within the same week they found out they had PCOS. Neither one of them had other outward symptoms. |
