Turn off high beams!

It’s unsafe, you are blinding other drivers if you are using your high beams on residential streets that are well lit and have pedestrian crosswalks. If I am blinded by your lights; I cannot see if there is a pedestrian crossing. Why is this so hard? Tonight a car parallel parked on a one lane street; right by the pedestrian crossing; turned on its high beams and waited for someone to cross, I could barely see the person crossing because I was blinded by high beams from a stationary vehicle: what is wrong with some drivers

I am the OP I meant double parked. Literally blocked the whole lane

I think a lot of these are not high beams, they're just the eye-killing LED lights.

Can I add on to this post to PLEASE make sure your lights are actually on? I'm in Loudoun and the number of cars driving without lights on IN THE DARK astounds me.
