Cost of Administrators on Leave?

Anonymous
The BOE and County Council should determine and publish:
How many days of PAID leave have been given/assigned to administrators during protracted investigations & appeals processes or as disciplinary actions? Beidleman, Munsey, Ewald, Watkins, who knows how many others?

How much has this COST?

How many administrators are currently being paid to stay home while providing no service to students, staff, or community?

Munsley is at Wheaton correct? What happened to him?

Use FOIA.

It rather an administrator be on paid leave than interfering with teachers.

Munsey was at Wheaton for a little more than 2 years. Placed on leave 3 times with acting principals running the school--winter 2022, summer 2022, summer 2023. Total would be way past 6 months now if he is still on leave. Who knows?

Why don't they put teachers on leave when we have trouble getting attacked in the bad students classes. We get assaulted and no support from admin, then non renewed, then asked to resign, then they lie to unemployment and say we quit. I advise people to stay away from the predatory field of education. Not worth the struggle.

Let it go. If you were a competent teacher this would not have happened.

If you were a competent administrator then we would see teachers having fun and prosperous careers and students learning. There would be no need for fraudulent inflation. There would be much less violence in schools. Also teachers wouldn't feel constantly bullied.

Further, what gives yall the right to lie to unemployment offices of maryland. That's another type of fraud. It must run deep in mcps among the incompetent heads.

New poster here but you’ve got to find another outlet. You derail so many threads with your personal beef. We get it that you feel wronged. But you aren’t exactly making a good case for yourself with these posts.

She sits at home, weeping into her Sauvignon Blanc, ruing the choices she's made.

So you administrators who pride themselves in bullying teachers with immunity until there are none left and silencing teachers who point out the corruption in education want to act like you are morally superior on cost forums on top of you outrageously inflated salaries. Give me a break many of you admins ruin lives of teachers who are selfless. This behavior of the corrupt heads is why you won't have any teachers left. Sorry, but you must see the crisis that you all created through your own corruption.

Also many of us teachers do regret our bad choices of joining a corrupt industry but I think it stems from our own ignorance due to a poor education in America that is based on putting poor people in lifelong debt even when they want to be educators. We didn't realize the corruption until we are working 70 hrs work weeks for 50k and pressured to inflate all the grades and push kids along to expensive colleges.

Hey Principal Karen, if you think about it there are way more people that have had their lives negatively impacted through the shenaningens of admins than have benefited. So quit messing with teachers. We work hard. You walk around bullying and ego tripping. That is just the simple dynamic of what is going on in education.
