Agree with PP. My husband and I are both immigrants and take our kids back to our home country for a few weeks every summer. This enabled our kids have an appreciation of another culture & it’s traditions. They also learned another language as a result. Our son wrote about this in his private high school application essays and it did make him stand out as an applicant ( in addition to grades, test scores, recommendations, …) Bonus points if your kids can also volunteer and do some community service in the other country.
If your kids are only dual citizens on paper ( as in, they inherited another nationality because of a grandparent but never set foot in that country), I doubt it would matter.
