Middle school math

Have you seen any math class work or homework yet? We don’t have any grades in canvas/parentvue and the work is kept in class. It’s 6th grade pre-algebra in APS

So this is regular math 6 but we have grades and there have been multiple assignments and at least one short test. My child usually finishes the work during school but sometimes redoes if she made mistakes or shows me the work later.

We have a grade for pre-algebra but have not seen any work yet. Everything seems to be online and not written down. I hate it.

Thanks. My kid reports that they have need no corrections or any returned work.

We see almost everything. DHMS. This year the teachers are super on top of having everything in canvas.

Might be school/team/teacher dependent.

I’d gently check in with the teacher. Maybe there was some delay getting Camvas/PV updated - illness, etc.

I see grades in parentvue. I haven't looked in canvas but my kid says they have been working through packets on box plots and scatter plots. He is in pre algebra. He says they don't do much on the iPad.

It seems like they have spent a few weeks on the same topic but I know there has been testing as well
