Hitting, pinching in Pre-K

| How often are kids physical with each other at this age? DD and her classmates are all 4. There are two kids who are constantly hitting/pinching/throwing toys at other kids. Is this normal? DD has always been in daycare so I’m familiar with some occasional hitting by classmates, but it feels like these kids are too old for this. I’m just getting frustrated and not really sure what to do. At one point of the kids kind of grabbed and pinched my daughter’s face to the point where she had a pretty bad mark. |

What difference does it make whether this is "normal" or not? Not all kids are neurotypical. Even nt kids struggle through phases. There's no telling how long this phase will last either way.
What has your provider said about the issue? |

| Providers should have this under control, especially if it is the same two kids. Sign of an out of control classroom. |
