24 hours - ideas for a staycation

| I have from 12pm on Friday to 12pm on Sat for a solo staycation, kid and husband free. I'm in Rockville area but can go a short ways away - 1 hour max.. Looking for something relaxing with some shopping. I'll probably stay at a hotel. Any ideas of an itinerary? |

| Amazing!!! Lucky you! Annapolis would be fun. There are cute little stores downtown that my kids and husband do not have the patience to explore. Alternatively, Old Town Alexandria? |

Because in a hotel you don’t think about what you should be doing (chores, cleaning, yard work) since you don’t own the hotel |

Head across the river to spend the day at the King Spa.
