Family of 4, $225.
Wondering if this is in the ballpark of what others spend. |
| Family of four. Including eating out, and hosting people throughout the week, $400-500. |
|
Family of 2, around $190 and we don't typically go out to eat, so this is all food for the week.
|
| Inflation now so about $330 for family of 4. This does not include eating out. |
| 500 including takeout |
| About $350-400, family of 3. |
| $150 to $200 for two of us. I am terrible at saving money with groceries, I assume just about anyone could get their grocery bill lower than ours. |
Not anymore. Prices have doubled in some items. It’s sometimes cheaper to get take out. |
|
For a family of 3 (mom, dad, teen) maybe $200.

Around $300-$350
Family of 4, two teen girls |
| Family of 4, $450 a week, two teen boys. |
| Around $300-350 for two parents and two older teens |
| Teen boys eat a ton! When my two boys are home my grocery bill probably goes up by $300 a week |
I would love to know what kind of meals you make and how often you eat out. |
New poster with a similar budget. Kids are young (both under age 8) so don’t eat a ton, but also a lot of fresh fruit and no junk food like cookies, cakes, or chips. Shop at Costco, Target, Aldi, and Whole Foods. Eat fast food 1x week. |
