What's the landscape for DMV? These teams are in 6th grade/MS/first time to be ranked on USClubLax

Top bracket - Hoco Elite: BLC > NL | ML
The others - AA: VLC, ML DMV; A: True Nova

There was a big shake-up in this group this summer. The BLC blue coaches along with a bunch of the players moved to NL. BLC blue hired a new coach and formed a new team from remaining BLC blue, NL, ML and VLC players.

The VLC team is barely a step above Hammers and TC who have no teams. They are the worst team on that list.

TC is a combo 2030/2031 team now. St James fielded a 2030 team this. Last year it was a combo 2029/2030 team.

TC 2030 team had a great summer, playing mostly Aloha level tournaments. Extremely successful in those events and great coaching. Solid NOVA option.

True NOVA's Black team will be likely required to play AA in HOCO because their green team is also going to HOCO. Whether they can compete will be the question.

True NOVA's Black team will be likely required to play AA in HOCO because their green team is also going to HOCO. Whether they can compete will be the question.

True 2030 will do AA+A in Hoco unless they open a B division.

Is True Nova Black is better than VLC 2030?
Last year True was A and VLC was AA in Hoco.

VLC was 4-3 in AA and True NOVA was 5-2 in A.

At that level and last year (this year is likely different) but VLC probably was slightly better.

Rankings and Wins at 6th grade. Utterly pointless distractions for parents that have no perspective or sense of what's important at this age group.

Prob can cross off the St James now. The Director (RS) just emailed out his teams letting them know he resigned from St James and will be working with Annapolis Hawks.

Whoa Sowell is leaving? That’s great for him. But now I’m rethinking signing my kids up for the box program which they really enjoyed with his coaching.
