I’ve had a few interviews in the DMV, and my family is trying to relocate to the area (probably MOCO) within the next 2-3 years. I keep seeing posts about the multi-year waitlists for daycare and preschool and am curious how folks moving from out-of-state have navigated those wait times, since you can’t really start planning w/o a job offer in hand? Did you have family step in until you got a spot? Did your employer offer childcare? Other options? |
People get on wait lists without a job offer in hand. It's usually just a $50 fee to get on the wait list. |
Thank you! I didn’t realize it would be possible w/o a local address. |
Look at Georgetown Montessori when you are near moving. |
