Rainy weekend coming up - looking forward to it

Anonymous
As much as I have loved this weather for the last few weeks, I’m looking forward to this washout of a weekend coming up. I’m very much an outdoors person and cannot stand missing out on a sunny day, so every weekend has been packed with outdoor day trips. Not this weekend.

On Saturday, I plan to clean the house from top to bottom and then do some yoga. On Sunday, I plan to sleep in, have breakfast in bed, and watch movies. Without any FOMO.

Blah- happy for you OP but it means more cancelled activities for my kids. One baseball game was already cancelled last sunday, sounds like there will be another one.

I wish mine would cancel. Softball carried on last weekend.

Not just rain, could be a tropical depression:

I would like to live on my own (or maybe with a cat?) in a stone house built on the edge of a cliff and watch the storms roll in.

Pls let there be wind. I have no interest in a rainy morning on the river.

My husband is out of town and I have so much more patience with the kids when we can go outside. Ugh.
