MAP Testing in High School?

Are all MCPS high schools conducting MAP testing for all grades? I thought it was valuable in elementary and middle school, but do not understand the logic behind high school. Plus, our school didn’t have it last year. At the very least, it should be optional.

They started with the 9th graders after the Covid year to assess learning loss, and it looks like the assessment has stuck.
