| Depends on the size of the pancake. Blueberries should be spaced 1/2 to 1" apart. More and the pancake batter will have to much blueberry juice to cook properly. Less and you won't get that ideal mouthful of blueberry in each bite. |
I make pancakes nearly every Sunday. They are on the smaller side — I use a 2 Tbsp scoop of batter. 5 blueberries is what I aim for in each pancake, although sometimes it ends up being more. But less than 5 is not enough. So I agree with this poster, not the OP. |
