MAP score and ELC

If your 4th grader is doing ELC this year what was their MAP-R score in the Spring of 3rd grade and this fall in 4th. Thanks

230-235 but the cutoff is lower, about 210, depending on FARMS rate.

Our low farms school has kids in the 212 plus range in ELC. Not sure what the cut off is.

Is ELC invite criteria same as CES lottery invite criteria?

No its school dependent. If you were invited to CES then you definitely will get ELC at your base school but other kids who didn’t meet the CES cutoff will also be invited.

That is strange. Our school is doing ELC for every 4th grader!

Low FARMS (W feeder) w/ an IEP so our situation may be more complicated.

It’s interesting when teachers say that the scores don’t reflect their abilities etc but then use them for placement in CES or ELC and reading groups!
