I don't get this marketing thing at all: Rihanna x Puma, Mugler x H&M.
Am I alone? Why is this so trendy? |
| It signals a collaboration and multiplies both brands' impact. It's more meaningful than simply + or and. Way better than an em dash — which can look subtractive |
|
The worst is
Blah / Bluh Terribly divisive. |
| OP, language constantly evolves. A language that does not change is a dead language in a dead civilization. This is maybe the concept that was eluding you. Embrace change, even if you don't use it yourself. |
| Because + means it's just putting them together and getting the sum. X indicates you get more when you put them together. I think it makes sense for what they're trying to say |
| Maybe it should be Puma ^Rihanna |
| get a real problem |
| Well, I agree with you OP. It's been a thing for maybe a decade now and I still don't like it. |
| Is Mugler x H&M distributive? |
