Our route home from school takes us past a 5 star resort with impeccable grounds. I’ve always wanted to learn how they change out their flowerbeds every season so there’s always something in bloom (and that may be something obvious to people who garden, but I have zero experience with it and it seems to happen magically—their zinnias right now are amazing) and see the greenhouses they must have somewhere on the property.
I’d also like to learn to make chipotle’s rice and when I used to commute via metro to gallery place from Arlington in the 1990s I really wanted to get to drive the trains. |
I'd love to take some time working on a fishing boat. I know it's cold and messy and difficult, but I want to experience it.
Vintage clothes/accessories dealer. I do buy stuff for myself at estate sales and flea markets, and I have a pretty good eye for things, but I have no idea how to sell. I see some people putting their stuff online for ridiculous amounts, and I wonder who pays those prices.
I’d love to be a wedding or event planner. Or a teacher.
NYSE floor trader. Only because it looks wild in movies.
Lawyer
Poker or blackjack dealer at a casino.
PP here: NOT a criminal lawyer. Boring corporate stuff or constitutional law. |
Baker
Scientist in Antarctica.
Film maker - not for the obvious reason of meeting movie stars but because I want to learn all the behind the scenes parts of the industry. I saw a picture of the set of Nope and thought it was so cool:
Also museum curator. |
Teacher
FBI, CIA agent - along those lines.
Waitress. Meet new people all the time, always running around, and line cooks always have good coke.
Roller coaster designer/engineer
