Does anyone know where I can find find fresh aji amarillo in DC or NOVA? I am participating in an online cooking class and need this, but not sure where to find it.

Any latino grocery store will have it! It is in a jar, very delicious. I've used it to make the green sauce that goes with peruvian chicken.

Such a councidence that you posted this. I found it at my local Giant in NVa yesterday. It wasn’t in the Latino section but in a random shelf at the end of the aisle. We used it to make the yello sauce that comes with Peruvian chicken.

What is the online cooking class you’re taking?

I've never seen fresh at a store, but I've seen jarred at Giant.

You can even buy the jars on Amazon. I don’t think you will find a fresh pepper. I’m Peruvian and we use the jar of ají Amarillo. It’s delicious!
