| I’m relatively new at my job and was sent a link to a survey to rate my manager’s performance. No heads up was given, it just showed up in my inbox and indicated the results would go to their manager. It makes me slightly uneasy, as I feel like it will be pretty easy to identify who said what. I don’t feel comfortable being totally honest, but I also don’t feel comfortable giving an overly glowing review. Is this a normal thing in other companies? |

I’m all for it. Satisfaction is a two-way street.
This should be standard practice! |
| It’s a trap. Give him all favorable ratings. |
+1 These are always a trap |
| PP here - once worked for someone with NPD who used these to triangulate and create chaos in their teams. |

Sounds like spam.

| I wouldn’t do anything until Hr asks me too. Or FW to them and ask if the review cycle has started? |
True. Could be some silly automatic Microsoft tool someone is spoofing you with. |
| It's totally normal but you have to read the room at your office to know what's safe to say. |
