Where did you absolutely hate?

Ever‼️

Between the enormous crowds and the humidity you could not pay me a million to ever visit there again.

There were lines for EVERYthing: the restrooms, to even purchase cold water, all the rides…even to take a photo w/a Disney character!

Why do ppl even go to Disney? I cannot see the appeal in any way. When our kids asked if our family trip could be there we took them to Alaska instead. Less lines. More nature.

Universal > Disney

- People were very racist, and if you’re going to the city as a black person. Please cross your fingers, they are never friendly with them and usually seen as racist
- Politically, it is unsafe and protests were happening about almost everyday.
- Too dirty, and it smelled terrible for the most part.

Good food at least, thats what makes Lima good.

Racism is just part of their culture. Don't be a bigot.

Not really. People think of food in Peru, not racism. Maybe get your facts right buddy. Signed by a Colombian.

Jamaica in the 80's. I'm sure it's not any better now.

Universal > Disney

I actually agree with this somewhat.

Agree. You might have to wait a couple hours for the latest and greatest rides at Universal but you can usually find something to ride on without a long wait. We stayed in a rental near Disney and it included at TV that displayed the wait times of various rides - even the second- and third-rate rides had hour+ waits. Our last day there we went on exactly one ride - and accomplished this by getting on the app at 12:59 pm and repeatedly refreshing. Managed to snag a 7:30 entry time, which still made us wait an hour and a half. And this was at Epcot, which is at least pleasant to wander around. I have nothing at all good to say about the Magic Kingdom.

CA.

I had booked a trip to Hollywood since I love old movies and am fascinated with stories from Hollywood’s Golden Age.

But Hollywood was such a dump!!!!!!
Tons of homeless people, filthy dirty sidewalks/streets, etc.

It was kinda cool visiting Graumann’s Chinese Theatre, seeing the Hollywood Walk Of Fame as well as Hollywood High and the Wax Museum, etc.

But the atmosphere was more skid row than anything else.

Yes. I actually really loved LA generally but Hollywood was shocking. I actually don't understand why it can't be a pedestrian area and sort of revamped to be more like old times 1940s Hollywood. I feel like it deserves it and instead it's like Time Square and tacky, filthy and seedy.

Hollywood is worse than Times Square (as someone who spends a lot of time for work in both LA and Manhattan). Times Square is hectic and tacky but it isn't quite as sad and depressing as Hollywood Blvd.

Most of the new tourists coming back to El Salvador are really just natives of the country. Its only because the insane crackdown of gangs there that made the country safer and easy to travel through. I enjoyed ES but I am not sure if its equally the same as Costa Rica.

Id say Nicaragua is starting to be easier to travel to and safer than Costa Rica despite government issues.

I love how Dcumlandia has literally written off half of the USA as “no go” zones for political reasons yet has no problem with traveling to countries like Nicaragua and El Salvador (not to mention the bulk of Arab nations)…apparently politics and human rights on apply to Red States.

It amuses me too.

I am Indian and am generally surprised when non-Indian people choose to vacation in India. I don’t know how they don’t know what they’re getting themselves into. I have family and cultural ties, and worked there for a few years during formative years for me. So I love it most of the time. But I wouldn’t go there if not for these reasons.

+1 I also don’t care for a lot of Indian food! The place is filthy and gross.

Why would you go there?! Also, did you really have NO idea about the crowds and mess? Like you hadn’t seen any pictures or Googled it at all? I’m so curious what you based your decision to visit on.
