It's a legit f around and find out by St James. They thought he and the fcv/North players didn't matter. Obviously by how much they've lost in coaches, players and flat out teams in the north and South show what a bad idea that was.

Not all came to VRSC. The ones that did are nice and talented players in our age group. We've been very happy with the decision to stay at VRSC through the big changes over the last 8 months.

TSJ is running a business to make a profit. If you think they miss any player or coach, you are missing the point. Wins and social media posts about college commits do not matter to any club's bottom line.

Isn't VRSC doing the same? I think both are for profit...

VRSC is supposed to be non profit but their most recent 990 pales in comparison to other clubs.

https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/842902851

It was mentioned a few pages back that VRSC’s legal practices were shady at best. Any accountant with experience care to explain how an alleged non-profit submits losses yearly and still operate?

I wonder how they operate with such low revenue. Other clubs in the area are in the millions. Even sterling soccer, as small as they are, have a higher revenue on their 990 than Rev.

This has to be a reflection of the rec side....and would make sense with it being so low. Even with 1 team, let's say 10 kids @ $3K you have more revenues than $17k.
My guess is rec is a non-profit and the travel side is for-profit.

And a golden opportunity to get away from BP

Don't be mad that BP the savior didn't select your kid to go to VDA. VDA is doing great!

this is one of the dumbest responses ever. seriously.
No one said anything about VDA. You are trying too hard.

But they did...PP was responding to the comment "And a golden opportunity to get away from BP"

No, they weren’t. The poster was saying it was a golden opportunity for CC to get away from BP. CC was ready to go work with people he wants to work with…IYKYK, if you don’t, just shut up.

Right ! This is on track ^^. It's not about VDA - it's about CC getting free of BP.

It's time for a little common sense.

VRSC has well over 50+ travel teams. If we say their average roster size across age groups is 12 and they charge $3k per kid you are talking $36k per team. Rates and roster size vary and grow in size and price as ages increase.

Even a single U8 team with 10 players paying $2.5k is $25,000.

Let's stop pretending there is a travel soccer club anywhere in Virginia with only $17k of revenue.

No, no, no, no, no...this is not the place for common sense. Its for conspiracy theories, chest thumbing and team/club bashing, get with the times.

That makes more sense, rec being non profit and their academy/travel etc is for profit.

Surely the town of Leesburg and the county of Loudoun are receive tax property related payments and payroll on time. How?

Instead of getting on a public form and alluding to something illegal or not on the up and up trying just contacting the club and asking if they are a nonprofit or not. You are coming close to making some serious allegations that do not need to be made.

Don’t know about the younger groups but for the 06/07 game fcv had won 3-0 against revolution. Good fight for the first half but then rev started to slip during the second half and fcv started to take advantage. A little bit of wrestlemaina action thrown in there as well.
