Best soccer program/league in Mclean area

Hi, what’s the best program for a 4-5 year old boy in mclean?

Additionally, which programs around mclean have the best/most competitive soccer? I grew up abroad where kids played soccer regularly, in a non-formal setting like street soccer / pick up soccer. I’m surprised at how soccer is so formal here and you must put kids in a group coaching program. Where do the kids get the best training around here (ball skills, drills, technique etc). Not just throw a bunch of kids into a scrimmage without actually having any ball skills. Please advise!

Isn't that what informal/pick-up is?

They have a great program for growth starting at the U9 Travel level. Some of their U little teams are on fire now.

You are being fooled. GFR’s top U Little teams are in lower divisions. Coach Jake berates the 8 and 9 year olds all practice and game long. The good news for some and bad news for others is that he has been demoted from 1st team coach to 2nd team coach.

You are talking about 5 year olds? Stick with McLean.

McLean Youth Soccer is a great option. Recreation for the young years. Travel soccer starts around age 8.

You should go with Alexandria or Arlington, if only to avoid the jerk parents for McLean that do nothing but yell at teenage officials and players from other teams during games.
