We love it. Every place is air-conditioned that we go to. You can wear summer clothes well into September. You can still swim in outside pool. It’s a gift of an extended summer!

Same. I wish I lived in a time of global cooling.

I chose DC for law school because having visited once in childhood I was excited to live among the monuments and museums and living history - but I hadn’t recalled the humidity, probably didn’t bother me so much as a young kid.

I think my entire experience of law school would have been different if I’d chosen a school in a colder climate. I am not made for heatwaves and especially not humidity, it makes me perpetually irritated (apparently I’m not alone in that, lots of research on rises in crime during hot weather).

My plan in a few years when I’m done paying student loans is to buy a small liveaboard sailboat and spend my remaining years chasing temperate weather wherever that takes me.

Enjoy starvation and famine, then. Because that’s happens in temperate latitudes during cooling cycles. Dramatically shortened growing seasons and occasional summer frosts that kill a whole season’s worth of growth overnight. Pretty hard to maintain productive agriculture in a place that can have frost 10 months a year. 60 days is not a very long growing season.

End result will be a mass migration of humanity to the lower latitudes and tropics, as has happened in past ice ages.

It’s global warming.

It’s right now 30 degrees and 100% humidity and a bunch of people have a lingering cough they can’t shake because of how damp and moist the air constantly is. Ugh.
