We just finished renovating our primary bath and have 2 sizable walls surrounding the tub area that feel empty. I know sleek and minimalist is the current trend, but what do we think about wall art for the bathroom? Tasteful if done right or tacky? |
I think it works best if the whole room is sort of…furniture-y. Like if there’s a chair and fabric window treatments then maybe it goes with the vibe.
A non-art alternative to the sense of void would be hooks and shelving, even if they’re basically just for aesthetics. A row of hooks with a pretty towel hanging, for example. A shelf with a plant. Etc. |
I like art in bathrooms; not tacky. |
We have two small pieces in our bathroom. I don't think bathrooms are the place for big statement art, LOL |
