I follow a pretty crunchy influencer/mommy blogger. Today I just couldn’t help but laugh at her Hostess Twinkies #ad, where one of her kids was awkwardly taking a bite from a new chocolate Twinkie, with a comment about how these “grab and go snacks will be a back to school staple.”
It’s like, I know you do this to pay the bills, but really? She recently did another #ad about how much they love Scotch tape, and how easy it was to tape colorful cartoon posters all over their Montessori beige bedroom walls. It’s like c’mon. |

I don't follow people or watch any of those things. Why would I do that to myself?!? |
| I'd stop following them. They are exploiting their kids so that they don't need to get a real job. It's gross. |
|
I can't believe that people are influenced so easily though.
Companies don't pay all this $$ for nothing! |
If anything it makes me want to avoid the brands. |
| I just saw one where some influencer tried to sell Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast meals as convenient and healthy 😂 |
Yum! Yum! (And they never ate them again!) |
+1 I find it strange that people "Watch" or "follow" strangers online. Something is very off about that. |
It's really sad and says a lot about the world these days. |
