| Does anyone know if and when the bus app will launch? |
| At a recent board meeting, they said there were some delays but they are planning to roll it out by December. |
| Thank you, PP! |
|
I hope it works. We badly need it.
|
| What a ridiculous waste of money given the poor state of mcps and the fact that kids have cell phones. Shameful pork spending |
Kids' cell phones aren't going to tell them when or if a no-show bus will be coming. |
Don’t hold your breathe. It is the third bus app they have purchased and none worked so far. |
If the bus doesn't come, your kid can call you on their cell phone. No cell phone, use a gizmo or another device. |
| DCUM: "Get rid of phones! Use phones for everything! " |
Oh the horror!!! I'm okay with your kid having to work something unexpected out once or twice in their life. Meanwhile their aren't enough special education teachers for thousands of kids on a daily basis. |
That's because people aren't applying for those jobs. |
People apply for jobs that pay well. |
You're right. It's that dang bus app that's responsible for the nationwide teacher shortage. |
My Kindergartner doesn’t have a cell phone but has over 20 stops on his bus and an additional school. We have substitute drivers often who are off schedule. It’s not a waste of money to me. Very few, if any, kids on a K-2 bus have phones. |
