The Heights Food Hall in Friendship Heights

Anyone know what’s going on with it? They said it would open in June and then August and it’s still not open. They’ve been building it for 2 years. We’re super excited for it but seems sketchy it’s still not open….

Nope. I’ve been waiting for a bit — and haven’t seen any updates on local blogs, or even on the Heights own sites.
I will say that they advertised jobs over a month ago, and the construction, decorations, and outside seating suggest ongoing progress.

I just hope it actually opens at some point and doesn’t become an eyesore bc the developer goes bankrupt.

I’ve walked by what used to be the entrance to PF Changs during daylight hours, and also checked online. So far, as recently as yesterday, I haven’t seen any signs that they’re actually open. I’m really eager to try the barbecue spot, so I hope the signs of progress means that they’ll be opening soon.

I don’t think they’re ever going to open. Every month it seems to keep getting bumped.

Really? There’s signage up and furniture inside as well as outside, and posters up about hiring for open positions.
