registering for AP exams

Does anyone know the date registration opens? I've been checking my kid's HS webstore and it's still showing the 2022 deadlines.

Is your child enrolled in an AP class? If so, MCPS is paying for all AP exams and will register them automatically this year. The expectation is for all students enrolled in the class to take the exam. If your child is taking the exam but not enrolled in an AP class, then you need to register and pay separately.

What if a student is self studying for a test and not registered for the class….do they have to pay for the exam?

DD has a class that's not officially AP but students usually take the AP after they take that class. Do we have to self-pay?
