Where to purchase shredded mulch?

I’m having a a hard time finding shredded mulch in a dark brown (not black) color. This is for an area of our yard that slopes downward so mini chunk types will just wash away. Any suggestions?

NOVA. I’ve looked at Merrifield, Home Depot and the pop-up landscape store in downtown Mclean.

Have you considered Virginia Pine Bark & Fine or Virginia Pine Fines mulch? It's more expensive but much better for the environment and aesthetically pleasing and good for acidic soil. We get ours at American Plant.
