Rocktown Kitchen and Local Chop and Grill were our favorites over the years. (2023 JMU grad)

We visited my DS this weekend for the Bucknell games and went to all of these places, except Jimmy Madison’s, and they were great.

Had a suite at Hotel Madison which was fabulous.

Trying to find alternate lodging for parents weekend. We currently are booked at Howard Johnson’s for $350 per night 😳

Have you tried staying farther out in Waynesboro or Staunton?

For something a little fancier, we’ve LOVED the Joshua Wilton House. It’s a great special occasion restaurant. We’ve only been in late fall and winter, and there’s something so cozy about it.
