FCV vs. Loudoun in 08’s and 09’s.

Wags flights are wonky.

We won our flight last year, and are now in a lower flight (the 5th flight out of 9).

In our flight you have a couple of other top teams and good ECNLR teams, and then random 3rd teams of clubs where we swept their 2nd team last season.

In the flight above us, you have multiple teams we beat by 3+ goals each across multiple games.

2 flights above us you have multiple teams we beat by 1-2 goals each time we played them.

It seems completely random where they placed ECNLR teams….

Agree with this 100%. I'm seeing the same kind of thing. It's like they just put all the teams in a hat and drew them out randomly.

Looks like there was some movement after the top brackets were dropped earlier this week, not sure if some clubs complained.

Those teams just played each other in OGBC yesterday. FCV 09s and Loudoun 08s won

Just goes to show you that merit in youth soccer doesn't mean a whole lot. Small piece of the puzzle.

It seems odd that two teams on the girls side are coming from Arizona. Also some ECNL regional teams are missing? Are they going to a different tournament? (I know that holiday weekend is popular).

They are not there. Also SYC is missing (I see Alexandria and usually they are at the same level).
