| Wondering if it is because I haven't seen any other state with it but saw a MAGA Loving puerto rican woman display it on her instagram. |
| As far as I know, it’s only a license plate option in VA. But the Gadsden flag from which it’s drawn exists all over and has a long and troubled history. |
| Virginia lets any group create a plate so we end up with stranger options than most other states |
Not true. You need a commitment of a certain number of plate purchased before VA DMV will create one. I forget what the number is, but several years ago, a “Virginia wine country” plate didn’t make it. |
If I lived in VA, I would try my hardest to get this to be a license plate. Just to counter the anti-abortion and MAGA Gadsden plates.
|
There’s already a pro-abortion plate. |
Citation on the long part? Or are we defining history as starting in 2009? |
You mean a plate for people who respect women. |
| According to wikioedia: The Gadsden flag has become a popular specialty license plate in several states. As of 2022, the following states offer the option of obtaining a Gadsden flag specialty license plate: Alabama, Arizona,[32] Florida,[33][34] Kansas,[35] Maryland,[36] Missouri, Montana,[37] Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee,[38] Texas, and Virginia.[39][40] |
Except pink or some color to distinguish it from the traitors. |
| I think some people get the plate, not knowing that it’s associated with MAGA. |
I always laugh when I see those on foreign cars, especially British ones. Those people have no concept what the Gadsden flag actually means. And all MAGA boosters hate America and all that it stands for. They’re all traitors. Wasn’t aware there were any MAGA in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rican support for Biden over Trump is huge. |
When it came out, it was promoted/endorsed by the TEA Party, which has morphed into MAGA. |
Reflects mainstream values. Most of America is pro-abortion, at least in the sense of keeping it legal. Overwhelming support. One reason Republican political candidates are so terrified of the upcoming election. |
Ironic since you have to pay more for the plate. I thought they were “taxed enough already.” |
