It’s a 15 yr old car. We only need to keep it for another 2 months until we can get a new car, at which point we’ll donate this one.
Current tread: Front tires at 1/32 inch, back at 2/32. This car generally gets 1-2 hours total of daily driving on suburban/urban-ish streets. |
| yeah, keep it but drive carefully next two months particularly wet days |
| I’d replace with cheap ones. |
| I would get new tires unless you only drive it on dry roads. It doesn’t have enough tread to push water away. |
| your tires are done. Go to a used tire place. |
Good luck in the rain with those tires. Yikes. |

That car is a hazard in the rain with tires like that. If you drive it in the rain and have any kind of crash, regardless of who is at-fault, I would expect you’d be charged for a mechanical violation.
Plus it’s negligence on your part for willfully using tires you knew to be unsafe, which will really matter if there’s a civil judgement against you from any crash. Penny wise and pound foolish. |
| Come on! Why risk it those are terrible. Buy new walmart tires today. |
