Should I count this as my period?

I had a d&c 4.5 weeks ago. I believe my levels were down to non-pregnant levels around 1.5 - 2 weeks ago. I've had menstrual-like cramps for the last four or five days and started bleeding today, seeming very much like a normal period, but it's already seemed to taper off.

I'd love to ditch the birth control and start trying again...and I was instructed to wait until my next period. Do you think I can count this as my period?

Sorry for your loss. Why are you on bc?
I had a D&C 3.5 weeks ago and was told to wait 2 cycles per OB but RE said I could try right away. I believe I ovulated this past weekend, and hopefully I got pg
If it was red flow and you had to use a pad and change it I would count as my period.

PP here. Sorry, I read it as bc pills for some reason, instead of bc, which makes sense if you were told to wait.

That's right, not bc pills but a diaphragm.

Sounds like I should count it as my period even if it really light. Good luck! Hope you got pregnant!
