Telluride ski recs?

| We are thinking of heading to Telluride for a long weekend in the winter to ski. Never been, but looks great from cursory searching (our other option is Heavenly). We've already got the Epic pass purchased, and these are two resorts we'd like to cross off our lists. Since it's a short trip, I prefer hotel to airbnb/vrbo. Ski in/ski out preferred. Finding options in town or in Mountain Village - any thoughts welcome from those that have been! |

There is a gondola that goes from town up to the base village and you can ski down, so I like town better because it's a super cute town and lots of restaurants. But both places are nice and you can get from the base village to town easily in the evening as well.
It's a pretty long trip for a long weekend. I think we went for 4 days and it was a full day of travel on both ends with changing planes and driving from Montrose. |

| If you're advanced skiers, I highly recommend at least one day with Helitrax. It was a blast and an easier intro to heliskiing. |
