Springfield versus Fairfax country club

I should preface that we don't golf so perhaps we should not be looking at either. As far as having a gym and a pool to swim at and family activities, does anyone have a preference?

We were members of Fairfax a few years ago. We joine mainly for golf since it’s a better course. The pool was nice and they had a lot of family activities. We never really did them since we lived fairly far away and it was a PITA to get there with traffic. There were a ton of new families with young kids that joined during Covid.

There are much better pool options near there at a fraction of the cost.
Burke Conservatory is one example.

What is closer to your house? Where do you know more people? That is how I would decide.

I live in Burke and know people at both.

I join a local swim club with tennis instead, since we are not golfers and it is closer to our house and it has more of the kids friends from school - but YMMV. I guess my friends who join both of those country clubs, like both.
