"A problem occurred with your order"

Amazon tracking gives this message. Two different items. What does this mean / why would this happen? I've never seen this message before.

I've had that happen. The last time it was due to a severe weather event at the warehouse.

It happens rarely enough that it doesn't bother me. I order frequently from Amazon and always have excellent customer service. It's fine if something happens from time to time.

If it's coming from China, it might be held up for whatever reason.

I tried waiting it out once and that was a mistake. Now I just cancel and reorder when this happens.

It’s rarely actually bad weather. It usually just means they forgot to load it into the delivery vehicle.

Yeah, it often means the package is lost in the warehouse. They might find it a week later, but often they won’t.

PP you replied to. That time it was:it correlated with news headlines about an Amazon warehouse and a weather event.

Usually they didn’t ship the item and therefore missed the shipping deadline and making excuses. Happens to me every few orders.

I would cancel and re-order. This happens to us probably three times a year, which is nothing because we ordered 2-3x a week. If I remember correctly, we would receive the new order and then the next day get the original one.

Happens to me all of the time. I live in Georgetown.Amazon has the worst customer service.

It updated to “Unfortunately, a problem occurred during shipping. If you have not received your package by August 27, please come back here for an update. We're sorry for the inconvenience.”

I did chat with two different agents and they said I have to wait until Tuesday and check back with customer service again. Is this typical? They wouldn’t refund me even though I purchased those 2-day delivery items for the weekend.

Status is not Undeliverable. Does this mean never shipped? Tracking shows shipment.
