defined brows for older women

Anonymous
I love the thick, defined brow... but, I feel it looks odd on me - age 57, strawberry blonde and very fair skinned.
Does anyone my age do it right?

I'm your age, defined brows however I'm brunette. I also have really good skin, have a current haircut. So basically it really all just depends.

How do you get it if you don't have naturally thick (at least somewhat) brows? Mine are disappearing and I hate it!

PP here (14:27) mine are not overly thick, just a nice natural shape. They look the the thinner ones in this pic - the one on the right, which I'm totally fine with. Anything thicker would look ridiculous on me. Also I started using GrandeBrow about 9 months ago - I was very skeptical going in but am a true convert now. This product has really helped me keep what brows I have left, and has helped them grow in as well. Even DH noticed it.

Really jealous that GrandBrow worked for you.

I'm also a strawberry blonde, but my natural eyebrows (and lashes, and all other body hair really) is multiple shades lighter than my hair. So it's hard to find a thicker brow that looks good that isnt super dark or like, nordic looking. I got my brows tattooed (nano/combo brows) and I LOVE it.

Dark blond here with almost blond brows and lashes. I use thrive causemetics and love it. Simple, adds some color and some thickness, but not over the top.

I just watched a reel on instagram by an older woman doing her brows. She said don't go too full/dark right in the middle - it can make you look stern. I don't have enough brow there to go super-full, so it doesn't really matter. But for those of you will fuller brows, it's worth experimenting.

To the PP - where did you have your nano/combo brows done? That looks like something I'd like to do.

I have light brows and I have found this product great for coloring them. Once this is applied my brows don’t look as sparse - each hair gets darker even the fair and gray ones. The first day or so the skin underneath is also dyed but that doesn’t last.
I use this every 3-4 weeks.
Vast improvement in my before/after look.

I’m from a family of redheads and strawberry blondes. My older sister and mother both have gotten combo brows this past year; they love them. Mine are bushy and naturally dark red, but my sister’s have always been almost white while our mom’s were a nondescript taupe color. Their brows are so beautiful! Subtle and not overdone at all but makes a big difference. I was a skeptic at first but am now jealous
