Decent hotel for pit stop in Savannah? Hilton brand that sleeps 5

Title says it all. Hoping to find something for a quick overnight in Savannah—ideally within walking distance of something.

Try this thing called Google or try looking at Hilton website.

Like everyone else who posts here, I was hoping to find a tip from someone with firsthand experience along the lines of, “We loved X hotel. It was clean and in a safe area. There’s a waterfront view and we enjoyed Cafe Blah Blah for coffee.”

Geez.

I’ve never been there, and I’m not sure what area lends itself to a good, walkable experience.

You’d be amazed how much info is available online. Trip Advisor? Hilton website look at reviews?

The touristy part of Savannah is a ways off the interstate. It’s not really a pit stop place.

Where are you coming from and where are you heading?

Lol- that’s what I thought, too. Type your title into Google and you’re set.

Embassy Suites is part of Hilton. There’s one right by SCAD that would sleep 5. From there, you can walk to a bunch of cool restaurants as well as the SCAD museum and bookstore and stuff. It’s walking distance from Collins Quarter, which is one of my favorite brunch spots.

The “embassy suites - airport” hotel is in walking distance of the airport. You didn’t specify “something”.

Wilson, NC has a bunch of new hotels right off of 95 and is about halfway.

I thought you said pitstop on the way, agree with PP about embassy suites downtown. Don't stay by the airport. There is nothing there other than a couple of hotels
