Foundations of Technology or Foundations of Computer Science

What is the difference between the Foundations of Technology and Foundations of Computer Science class? My kid isn't able to take the AP Computer Science Principles class because of schedules. She's a smart kid, but not particularly into computer science. Would not really take any of these if there wasn't the tech requirement.

In FOCS they do very introductory exercises using code.org.

FoTech is hardware/robotics
FoCS is programming.

Both are basic non-honors level courses.
