Considering a week long vacation to Columbia next spring with my two teens. Any recommendations for exciting adventures or places we shouldn’t miss?

Thx!

Rule Number One: learn how to spell the name of the country correctly

Columbia University? Yes! It’s NYC, lots to see, don’t miss Tom’s Restaurant, famous for its Seinfeld frontage.

I jest. It’s Colombia.

I don’t think anyone who can’t even spell the name of the country has any business visiting it, especially with teens. Colombia is a complicated country and takes some careful planning to fully navigate and appreciate.

Yes…Columbia SC. Not Colombia. Wow.

Are you the OP? Who takes a week long vacation to Columbia, SC??

I was hoping it was going to be Columbia, Maryland, and people would have recommendations to check out Centennial Park, whatever travel lacrosse tournament is inevitably going on, and do a "day trip" to Baltimore.

Um, everyone assumed Colombia because Columbia, SC is shit-boring, OP.

if you mean the country, I have a great itinerary! We spent last spring break there and loved it. If you mean the city in SC, just don't.

I thought OP meant the Columbia River.

Never heard of Columbia, SC.

I'm from Columbia, SC. It is boring, I agree. Five Points, the area around the university, is nice. There's some historical homes and the state house downtown. Riverbanks Zoo is actually a really nice zoo. Other than that, I think I'd spend some time in Charleston or Greenville. They are really much more interesting and fun.
