I'm an old milennial and pulling out my sheath dresses and business attire for the office again. Am also realizing I don't know how to accessorize work clothes anymore. What's currently in style and what should be avoided? Statement necklaces are out, yes? Belts? Help please!

| I’ve been wearing fine (small) jewelry. The second dress is lovely but a bit harder to pull off with a small necklace since there is just so much material to balance out. |

Bless your heart |
| The new style is no one cares anymore, go to the office, do your work, go home. |

If you want a big necklace but not a big necklace, fold a 90cm scarf into a triangle, roll it, then tie three knots in the middle and then tie it around your neck.

I think brooches are due for a comeback.
Scarves are always in style. |
| Yikes, these are expensive for what they are. |
This month's Vogue (September 2023 issue) shows statement necklaces on lots of the models. They put one on Cindy Crawford, one on Zadie Smith, and several on the other models in their spreads. I also saw lots of delicate chains and a couple of silver chokers. Personally, I really like the thick diamond necklace on the woman with the plaid blazer and the Tory Burch top on page 341. I wouldn't call it a statement necklace but it works really well with the blazer and low-cut top. |
