41 is not that old for a second-time mom, especially not someone with vast resources. I think she looks beautiful for her age.

People have babies in their early 40s all the time. How many kids did Michelle Duggar have past 40? How many kids did your great-great-grandparents have in their late 30s/early 40s?? And if it were the opposite gender situation (a 26 year old woman with a 41 year old man) no one would even think twice about it. I’m not signing up to have a kid at 40+ but it’s fine for many people!

Good for her. There’s a 51 yr old woman at my MFM practice. She has a 2 yr old and is pregnant again (IVF for both).

NP. She is fine. My father-in-law was a natural oops pregnancy to a 47-year-old mother. This was long before advanced maternal pregnancy care or IVF. He was fine, she was fine and died when she was 97.

He looks older than his age and she looks younger. Visually it's not an odd pairing. He's also tall AF, so that helps.

But yeah, I don't see this working out in the long run. Once she hits menopause he will be only 34.

Not that unusual in DMV -know many women in the same shoes - some of their kids did brilliantly and some struggled just as with mums at younger ages …
