Spinoff from the CLT thread in FCPS. How often does your school have after school staff meetings? |
1-3 times a month |
Once a month but CLTs meet every week |
There is an after school meeting every week.
1) department 2) whole faculty 3) “team” kid talks 4) mandatory committee (equity, safety, etc) |
Once a month, but about twice a year they are canceled to give us the “gift of time”. Attendance is never taken so we never get PD hours for it, so I stopped going midway through last year. I’m not going to beg a neighbor to pick up my kids so I can attend a staff meeting filled with ice breakers that should have been a 3 bullet point email. |
Ours is similar. Different #s 3 and 4. |
Twice a month- before school |
That is NOT cool. My condolences. |
One staff meeting per month (occasionally canceled) and one committee meeting per month. |
Faculty 1x month
Department 1x month but sometimes it’s cancelled. We often eat lunch together anyway. Teams by subject, supposed to be on a schedule 1x week. Depending on the team it’s very regular or as needed. 504/IEP or intervention - varies and can be rarely or often depending on the students in your class in any given year |
17:35 again, those are all during contract hours. None are after school. |
Oooh, how do you do a whole faculty meeting during the school day? |
