
In discussions of Obama, the tea party, Israel-Palestine, and such, I can understand when deep differences lead to hostility. But in a primary between two Democrats who probably share the same goals on most issues, why is there so much anger? Is it a carry-over from other threads, or are some of us prone to turning every discussion into a shouting match? |
Democrats are not one big happy family, and sharing goals does not mean you agree on how to get to them. |

OP here. I get the point. Our parochial little differences are as important to us as national and world affairs, so we have just as much right to make asses of ourselves over them. Yeah, I said "we", I'm in there battling it out with the rest of you. Just thought it might be worth pointing it out; now on with the fun! |
