Would you work if you don't have to?

Reading the work-life balance thread got me thinking: would you stay at your job if you have enough money in the bank/a large enough trust fund/a DH who makes $$$?
Anonymous
Yes. I enjoy my job.

I do.

I don't have to work and do work full time.

Nope. I would definitely do something with my time, but not a "job" like I have now. Maybe homesteading, or volunteering, but not a full time job.

I don’t have to work so I don’t. It’s pretty damned awesome.

I would become a high school US history teacher and golf coach

No--I would volunteer instead.

Yes. I love working. Okay, I like working.

I don’t plan on ever fully retiring. I will dedicate myself to my passion once I’m mid-50s-mid-60s and continue to contribute until I truly can’t anymore.

I would do the half of my job that I like and ditch the half that I don't like.

I would work very part time, but not sure what I'd like to do.
I'm already at the point where I don't have to work.Thinking every day what to do and where to go.

If my spouse works, I work. We are on this path together.

If we were both ready to retire, or independently wealthy (multimillionaires) then no.

Yes! I get so much personal fulfillment from my job.

I would fine a different type of job.

What kind of volunteer work? How many hours a week do you envision?
