Best smoked ribs?

I usually happily cook spareribs at home, but I have a taste for smoked ribs, so that means doing takeout. Does anyone have any recommendations? NW DC / Bethesda would be a plus, but I’ll travel for awesome. Any style is fine. Thanks!

Update: I just tried Fat Pete’s in Cleveland Park. They were okay, and a decent basis for future comparisons.

NP. Anyone tried this place? I make ribs occasionally but, like OP, not smoked. I work right by here and thought about doing takeout but would love feedback!

I second this. Not cheap, but extremely good and worth traveling for.

The Heights food hall is listed as having Supreme BBQ as one of its options. I haven’t tried them at their original location yet, but it does sound promising.

It’s a drive, but try Chalkboard Wings & BBQ in Mount Vernon (VA)
