AP scores

For admission purposes, should my child self report 4s on their AP tests? The student has all 4s (in three exams) and zero 5s. They received all As. (4.0 UW).

Most selective schools they are applying to are places like UVA, Wake Forest, and Richmond. Heard admissions person at UVA say to submit all 4s and 5s.

Yes, submit the 4s.

Does those schools accept those scores? If so, put them on the application.

Yes, you heard it from the horse's mouth (admissions), submit the 4s.

this shouldn't matter - always send 4s.

For more competitive schools, if DC is submitting an SAT score over 1500 or equivalent, I might not submit the 4s because it shows no 5s. With perfect grades and high SAT, might get benefit of the doubt.

I wouldn’t send scores on my application that those schools wouldn’t accept. They would consider them substandard.

I would not.

The schools the student is applying to will accept the 4s.
