It's Lewis.
Even if your child doesn't get the full IB diploma, have them take as many IB classes as possible along with honors. If they struggle with one subject, I understand gen ed might be more helpful. Some of admin does not care about the nonsensical behavior from some students , which can be changed with proper discipline from the school. Remind your child over and over to tune it out. |

| We took a chance on IB at Lewis as temporary transplants from California because it met our budget and commuting needs. Berkeley, UCLA, UCSB, etc love to see IB so I don't understand the frequent vitriol here against Lewis and other IB schools. I suppose it's a regional thing. Our kid seems to be doing just fine comparatively based on official mock IB exams. |

That’s good to know. I don’t see why IB at Lewis would be so different from IB at South Lakes or any other FCPS school. It’s the more intense option there so a child who wants/needs more of a challenge is likely better served doing that than being bored in gen ed. |
